“Every great dream begins with a dreamer, passion is energy”

Have you ever had a gut feeling about something? Or have ever felt in your heart that something was meant to be? have you ever been so sure about something? well if yes that’s how I’ve always felt about writing.

For as long as I remember, I have always loved writing, at age seven I had an exercise book for writing Stories. Growing older I wanted to be a journalist, linguist, blogger, newscaster etc. writing has always been a part of me. I knew that whatever part I chose in life, writing had to be a part of it. Why???? I don’t know, I still don’t know but writing is something I cannot live without.

Writing has always and will always be my escape route from the world.
writing is my safe space, I express myself better by writing.

I remember the first time I travelled with my family, to Ghana and I’d never been more excited, definitely a trip to remember.

Imagine my excitement when we went to Finland embassy. I knew we were travelling soon but my mother had given me strict instructions to not tell a single soul.

I’m sure you all know why, typical African parents. Imagine my little self “bubbling” and smiling, absolutely nobody knew why, it was the hardest decision ever.

One day, after school we were on our way to the airport. Throughout my trip to Finland, I was very happy, I guess I have always been an explorer.

Two years after we went on a family trip to UK and US, two years after we went to France and every other trip.

Telling my friends stories about my trips was very exciting, the way they paid so much attention to me and listen intently as I babble on about my experiences was refreshing for me so I decided I was going to be a blogger alongside a journalist, I had big dreams.

Then I finally got admission In Covenant university, I was to study English, I felt I was on the path to my dreams and then my drams died.

Entering university killed my dreams of being a blogger, everyone had a blog, I have always despised doing what everyone else was doing.

I said I’d be a vlogger instead, since I liked talking and writing plus I’m super dramatic and I like to think I give good vibes.

I became reluctant to do anything, but I’d still travel every year and give my friends the whole gist.

sometimes I would get carried away and give my friends the same gist twice, but they never complained because they knew how happy it made me.
